Mountain Laurel III

This 4,121 square-foot plan has three floors of living space to maximize buildable area on a relatively small footprint. The Mountain Laurel III takes full advantage of a sloping site that allows for a lower level walk-out and a second floor. High beamed ceilings, bright clerestories and dormer windows add to the open, airy feeling so desired in a mountain lodge. A covered autumn porch and exterior fireplace open off the great room and master bedroom. The large deck off the dining room provides extra entertaining and dining area outside. An open stair topped with a clerestory above tall, prairie-style windows makes for a fun, light-filled transition to rooms above.
