The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, which celebrated its grand opening in April 2005, is the first of two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses at The Cliffs’ and Asheville, North Carolina's only golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.  It is the only championship golf course, according to the PGA TOUR, to debut in tournament-ready conditions.
