Glassy's Tom Jackson championship golf course opens for play, offering panoramic 75-mile views and the only bent grass course from tees to greens in South Carolina

Golf Digest ranks the Jackson course at The Cliffs at Glassy "4th Most Beautiful in the Nation," behind Augusta National, Pebble Beach, and Cypress Point.

Swim and Tennis Center open

22,000-square-foot Club House opens

Glassy Mountaintop fire station opens

The Chapel at The Cliffs at Glassy opens with Easter sunrise service

The Cliffs acquires nearby La Bastide French Country Inn and Restaurant and adjoining Crescent Mountain Vineyards

The Cliffs invests $1.25 million to renovate Glassy Club House and practice range

Completion of remodeling and expansion of The Cliffs at Glassy Wellness Center

The Valley's Parkland style Ben Wright championship golf course opens for play and is ranked among the country's "Best New Courses" by Golf Digest

The Cliffs Valley and The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards co-host the BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs, a PGA-sanctioned event.  The Cliffs continues to host this annual event to help raise money for local charities.

2,550-acre annexation of Cliffs Valley North

2001

The Cliffs acquires nearby La Bastide Country Inn and Restaurant and adjoining Crescent Mountain Vineyards

2003

$5 million, 15,000 square foot Valley Wellness Center opens

2005  The Cliffs Valley Nature Center opens as the hub for Outdoor Wellness activities.  
2005  Reconstructive expansion of The Cliffs Valley driving range and putting green is completed. 
2005  Homesites at Corbin Mountain and Stone Creek enclaves are released. 

The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards

1996

The Cliffs acquires 1,400 acres of land on Lake Keowee

1997

Bordered by over one million acres of protected wilderness and called one of the most pristine natural environments in the eastern United States, The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards is announced. Over $20 million in real estate is sold in its first land offering.

The Cliffs at Keowee Falls North, sister community to The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards, is introduced

The Cliffs acquires Walnut Cove Farm and announces The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, Asheville's only gated master-planned community

Groundbreaking of Fairway Commons Townhomes

2005  Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course opens as the only course in PGA Tour history to open with a tournament (the Nationwide Tour's BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs) and called an "Instant Classic" by Resort Living magazine. 
2005  The Golf House (Phase I of the Club Village) opens, including golf shop, men's and ladies lounges, turnhouse grille, and 3,500-square-foot outdoor patio. 
2005  The Meadow and Millstream home collections are introduced.
2005  The Cliffs at Walnut Cove's Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course is nominated for "Best New Private Course" in Golf Digest. 
2005  The Cliffs at Walnut Cove plays host to The Cliffs Challenge, a made-for-television celebrity golf event aired on CBS. 
2006  Renovation complete on the Walnut Cove Nature Center (temporarily housing The
Wellness Center at Walnut Cove)
2006  The Golf House, overlooking the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at Walnut Cove, was awarded Best New Private Clubhouse by Golf, Inc. 
2007  12,000-square-foot Tavern and Restaurant under construction
2007  Construction begins on a 4,200-sqaure-foot Pavilion, featuring an elegant ballroom and gourmet market for butcher-cut meats, fine wines and prepared meals-to-go  
2007  Construction on the 17,000-square-foot Wellness Complex set to begin in Summer 2007 

The Cliffs at Keowee Falls

The Cliffs at Keowee Falls is introduced

2004  Groundbreaking on Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course 
2005  Keowee Falls Gatehouse completed

2007  Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course opens in May 
2007  The Cliffs at Keowee Falls Clubhouse is under construction and will be perched atop the most dramatic point in the community, offering sweeping views of Falls Creek and no fewer than 10 golf holes. 

The Cliffs at Keowee Springs

2004

The Cliffs at Keowee Springs is announced in ground-floor property release, breaking all previous lake release sales records.

2005  18-hole Tom Fazio golf course and practice facility is announced, making The Cliffs the only club in America to offer two Jack Nicklaus and two Tom Fazio golf courses (plus three more).
2005  Keowee Springs Phase III release of 80+ homesites sells out in one day. 
2006  Groundbreaking on Tom Fazio-designed golf course  

The Cliffs at Mountain Park

2006

Development of The Cliffs at Mountain Park is announced.
Amid much celebration, Gary Player announces he will move his home and his Gary Player Group headquarters to The Cliffs at Mountain Park.  Gary will also design a Signature golf course for Mountain Park, the seventh available to Cliffs’ members.  Mountain Park will encompass 5,000 lush acres that includes a Village Center, Village Inn, a Nature Center, Supertrail System, Botanical Gardens, Organic Farm, Wellness Center and 1,000 acres of private parks.


The Cliffs at High Carolina

2007

The Cliffs announces Tiger Woods will design his first American golf course at The Cliffs at High Carolina
