| About the Director |

Rick Fisher joined The Cliffs Communities in November 2006 as Executive Director of ZQ Associates, Inc. and Foundation Director for The Cliffs’ other philanthropic entities.
Mr. Fisher’s love for people and genuine concern for their health and well-being have been guiding forces in his life, and uniquely qualify him to spearhead The Cliffs’ philanthropic vision, most specifically that of instilling in young people and families better living habits and respect for themselves and their natural world. Through his efforts as Executive Director for the Zest Quest Program, thousands of students in Upstate South Carolina have been inspired to adopt healthier lifestyles through a lively program of instruction, physical activity, mentoring and incentives. The goal of Zest Quest is establishing a culture of healthy choices and lifestyles in local communities, thus the legacy of wellness is assured.
Prior to joining The Cliffs, Mr. Fisher served the ministry for over 30 years. He holds a Master’s in Religious Education from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Gardner Webb University.
Rick and his wife, Debbie, live in Easley, South Carolina and have two grown daughters, Jamie and Betsy, sons-in-law Rob and Lucas, and two grandsons, Thomas and Ashley. Mr. Fisher loves to read and play golf, but his greatest pleasure is spending time with his family.
