The Cliffs Communities announced today that the Company has promoted Daniel Brazinski from Director of Agronomy to Vice President – Golf Maintenance. Mr. Brazinski, who has been with The Cliffs for nearly 11 years, has been instrumental in developing The Cliffs’ collection of golf courses, most recently finishing The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, the communities’ first Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, located in Asheville, North Carolina, in tournament-ready conditions approved by the PGA TOUR. “Daniel and his years leading The Cliffs’ golf operations have been integral to our courses having risen to rival the very best in the nation,” explains James B. ("Jim") Anthony, The Cliffs' Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer. “We wish Daniel great success in his new role.”Mr. Brazinski’s responsibilities encompass direction of the construction, operations, and maintenance of The Cliffs’ four courses in operation and now include a future focus on the development of The Cliffs’ second Jack Nicklaus Signature course at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls in Salem, South Carolina. Throughout his tenure at The Cliffs, Daniel has served as the Superintendent for the Glassy, Valley, and Keowee Vineyards courses. He was promoted to Director of Agronomy in 2000 with the opening of the Tom Fazio course at The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards. In 2004, the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) recognized Daniel as a finalist for Golf Course Superintendent of the Year.
