Travelers Rest, SC (April 2, 2007) – The Cliffs Communities announced today that three members of its 45+-member senior management team have earned promotions.
Lucas Anthony
Vice President of Development
Lucas Anthony joined The Cliffs in 2003 as Project Manager within the Construction and Development Department and has served in progressive roles for more than four years, including, most recently, Senior Project Manager. As Vice President of Development, he will oversee the operations of all of The Cliffs’ horizontal and vertical residential and commercial construction and development across The Cliffs’ seven communities as well as The Cliffs’ international properties. In addition to his professional contributions, Anthony serves on the board of several local charities and corporations within the community.
Scott Carlton
Vice President of Operations
Having worked in the private club industry for more than twenty years, Scott Carlton has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Operations at The Cliffs after serving the organization for nine years in progressive roles including, most recently, Senior Director of Operations. As Vice President of Operations, Scott is responsible for leading a wide range of corporate functions that include Community Services, Human Resources, Risk Management, Purchasing, Facilities Maintenance, Information Technology and Community Relations. During his tenure, Mr. Carlton has served as Chairman of the Architectural Review Board for each of The Cliffs’ communities before transition of the ARB to the respective owners’ association. Scott has an in-depth familiarity with multiple facets of The Cliffs’ business, including property owner and Member relations as well as association management.
Rob Weber
Senior Director of Development
Rob Weber joined The Cliffs in June 1999 and has served as Senior Development Manager and, most recently, Director of Development, in which roles he has been responsible for the horizontal construction within five of The Cliffs’ seven communities. As Senior Director of Development, Weber works with the Development team to lead and direct the development activities to meet the goal of transforming raw land into an attractive landscape for sales purposes. Weber’s responsibilities include land planning, permitting, management of associates, contractors, property, inventory and landscape; road and lot construction; and utility installation.
