BMW Manufacturing's Zentrum Museum and Showroom
Walnut Grove Plantation was built in 1765 by Charles Moore. Today, visitors can tour the plantation and see what life was like in the 18th century. The house is still filled with antiques from the 1700s and the grounds include a barn and smoke house in addition to the main house.

BMW Zentrum is on the grounds of the North American headquarters of BMW. This center has exhibits that follow the company from its birth in Germany. The center includes a gift shop and video that explains the company and its duties. A tour of the BMW plant can be arranged with the receptionist at the Zentrum.

The Regional Museum of Spartanburg County focuses on the history of the Spartanburg area. Exhibits are constantly changing in the museum and focus on a different aspect of the regions historic past.

Cowpens National Battlefield is the site of a Civil War battle. It was a turning point for the war in the 1860s. Included on the grounds are picnic areas, trails, marked tours, and exhibits in the visitors center.
